This should be the IP address of the other end of the VPN tunnel. WAN. Specify WAN as WAN1. This should be the WAN port which the VPN tunnel is established on. Local Subnet. Specify the local subnet as 192.168.10.0/24. This should be the subnet address of the local network. Remote Subnet. Specify the remote subnet as 192.168.0.0/24. So i have created PPTP VPN server, properly setup firewall on the NAS. Setup port forwarding on the router (port 1723), upnp is enabled. On my PC using standard windows VPN client. problem: I am able to connect to VPN, but is really slow and VPN tunnel drops connection in about 2 minutes. This problem persisting and its really annoing.
